BEAR MOTORSPORTS

I am finally getting around to getting this newsletter together.  As I explained in my last newsletter we moved Bear Motorsports to Madera, California.  We were very fortunate to find a house, 2500 sq. ft. shop and 2 ½ acres for Bear Motorsports. 

 

Our race schedule for 2007 was shortened with track changes, work, and getting settled in the new house and shop.  Since we only raced a limited schedule in 2007 Bear finished the year 12^th in points.

 

We are hoping to finish the car and get to our first race in the March or April.  We had planned to have the car finished and ready to go, but unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, and work we are behind schedule.

 

I have to admit that some of our time has been spent at the Quarter Midget Track with our 5 year old Grandson, Ryan racing in the Novice class. He finished with the Novice championship for Madera and now has a room full of trophies and most improved driver.

Now that he is 6 years old he will be racing his Quarter Midget in the next class, Junior Honda and also he will be racing a few races in a Junior Sprinter at Plaza Park and Lemoore. 

 

We hope to make as many races as possible in 2008.  We will be racing at Kings Speedway or Tulare and with the possibility of a race in Santa Maria.  Check the race schedules for each track.
